Week #3 - Lets Get It

(Sky Sports, 2021)
This week was motivating for me. When I am not working on homework or at work, I am riding my bike or watching F1 racing. This week was no different. Sunday morning rolled along and as per my normal ritual, I sauntered to Starbucks grabbed an iced coffee for my girlfriend and me, then watched 20 cars rip around a circuit at speeds of 300+ km/hr for an hour or so. A summary of the events, my favourite driver who had been facing criticism for underperforming, won his first race since 2018, a massive feat. During his cool-down lap, he said "I never left, I just moved aside for a while". The quote stuck with me and encouraged me for this coming week.

There is nothing wrong with stepping aside for a little period to work on yourself. Needing to take time to ensure you are in a good headspace is so critical to the success of your schooling. After the race ended, I felt so inspired and motivated I started cracking into my script. I ended up with everything planned out, storylines characters etc. all I need now is to write it out. Just simply knowing I have this creative output is forcing/encouraging me to stay positive, take the time when I need to do so to ensure my mental health is in check. No one does good work when their headspace is in disarray. The next step is to slowly but surely hammer out this script and get it to a point where I can edit it down and ensure it is the best version of itself I can make. In terms of learning, I did not intake in new information, last week was enough for me. But I focused on utilizing what I have already existed in my mind and what else I can do to use it in a better light.
